Terms and conditions
Please read the following
terms and conditions before purchasing any
reports from this website, www.european-defence.co.uk.
Any orders placed must be done with acceptance
of these terms and conditions. If you feel
any of these are unacceptable, then please
do not order from this site. These terms
and conditions only relate to the purchase
of PDF publications from this website. All
publications available have been independently
researched by the owner of and sole trader
from this website, Michael Fishpool. These
terms and conditions were updated in January
2010. A PDF version can be downloaded here.
- Any transactions undertaken with this
website are final and no refunds will
be given. This is because the supply of
an electronic publication cannot be returned
once ordered and delivered by e-mail.
All publications are sent by e-mail within
24 hours of an order being placed. Orders
placed within
09.00-17.00 hours GMT are usually sent
within an hour. Material ordered and sent
out is done in good faith. Any attempt
to cancel your order (ie. chargeback or
non-payment of invoice within 25 days)
if the product has been delivered could
make you liable to recovery of the cost
and any losses incurred, including any
fee as a result of chargeback settlement
or credit card cancellation fees.
- Customers with firewall protection should
ensure that .pdf or .zip files can be
sent properly before ordering. If your
company has a firewall in place that will
prevent the sending of the reports, you
should supply an alternative means to
send the documents electronically, such
as another working e-mail address. No
responsibility will be taken for a publication
order that cannot be processed due to
restrictions in place at the customers
end.
- You are advised to download or request
sample copies and assess as to whether
you wish to proceed with a purchase before
making any buy. Further information about
the document and sample pages can be provided
if requested.
- Reports are provided on a single and
multi-user licences. A single-user licence
grants one person use of the document
and to print off one copy for personal
use. The publication must not be shared
with anyone else or any information contained
therein. A single-user licence buyer found
to be in breach of these conditions will
be liable for the fee for the full multi-user
licence and will be invoiced for the full
amount. A multi-user licence allows the
copy and distribution of the publication
internally, including on a library database
or similar archive, and to issue or print
copies to more than one people employed
at the company, organisation or agency.
A multi-user licence does not, however,
permit the buyer to distribute the publication
freely in any form other than within the
company or organisation that they work
for. A licence cannot also be transferred
to another person without prior agreement
(with the exception of multi-user licences
if the other person works within the same
company or organisation that the original
copy was sent to).
- The supply of a report(s) can be refused
if deemed necessary. In such a case and
an order has been paid for, a refund will
be provided.
